About Gay Vogler

Gay Vogler I do not remember not making art. I wanted to major in Fine Art at college, but the degree was not available so I became a teacher where I shared my love of art with my students. I have a fire within me to make art, so I took classes, practiced, and perfected my ability to transfer my vision to a canvas. Getting bold, I entered a small work into a community event and won first place. More training, more experience, allowed me to be bold again, and I entered three works into the 32 Cells Art Exhibition with the Old Idaho Penitentiary, selling two of the three. That was the start of my professional artist journey. Since then, I have won more awards, and I am represented by Avianne International Gallery of Fine Art. A fun journey indeed.

Exploring. Experimenting. Creating. These are my passions, and art is my vehicle to express them. Acrylics, watercolor, and mixed media communicate my expressive, intuitive, or abstract thoughts. This colorful journey inspires me to work in series about whatever sparks my imagination. Now I am here to share my passion with you. Enjoy my artistic journey!
